Kassettgården öppnar upp och bjuder in under Gömda Glömda Gårdar! Mellan kl. 17 – 20.00 är gården öppen – varmt välkomna att lyssna på Kristina Issa med band live kl. 18 samt besöka matbaren Knuten, som är kassettmedarbetarna Erik och Maja’s ambulerande rock’n’rolliga kök!

ISSA BAND
The band ISSA, a glorious mix of musicians with different musical backgrounds, was founded in 2013 at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. Since Kristina’s music is very much based on melodies and harmonies, she chose to work with mainly folk musicians but also improvisational musicians.

The result is playful mix of epic pop with harp and improvisation / folk. The band sees the songs as their children and they want the music to be free, imaginative and have it’s own personality. Their debut album is very much about facing your fears, but it’s also about resisting the urge to escape from the problems that exist in our society. The texts capture people’s stories and are critical of the ideals that are ruling our society. It is serious but playful.The main weapon is the imagination.The band have played at Gmlstn jazz, Debaser Malmö, Moriskan, Stora Teatern and Pustervik. On the release consert of the album they had a record number of people at “Klubb kom in”.
We also had a very nice tour in Paris in november 2014 and up coming tours in Europe. In 2015 we had a big projekt in one of the biggest venues in Sweden,”Stora teatern”, where we worked with a project called Arabic Spring, that was about the war in the middle east, because Kristina Issa is from Syria. It was a huge succes, where the goal was to have new audince to the normal culture scene, and we had over 100 refuges coming to watch it.

Knuten: En mysig matbar i miniformat, i en vrå i Kassettgårdens svängiga mingel – det är ”Knuten” det.
På återbesök i Uddevalla från Björkeberga by bland Skånes bokskogar kommer två av kassettgårdens tidigare bosättare, Maja & Erik, med hemlagat och hembakat i säsongens smaker.
Fresta gom och kaffetarm med Knutens minifika, en hyllning till njutningen i det lilla, serverat från vårt pluttiga minikafe.
Allt som erbjuds är lagat och bakat på ekologiska och vegetariska råvaror och anpassat för att hålla energin uppe lagom till nästa gårdsbesök.
